With the shift in the trend of funding capacity from indirect finance to direct finance, South Korea's finance market is also rapidly transforming in line with changes in the international financial environment. Moreover, as South Korea enters an era of low interest rates and an aging society, ensuring a comfortable life in retirement has become a challenging reality. Consequently, securities investment is evolving from being a concern of only a few individuals to a matter of interest for the entire nation. While interest in securities investment is increasing, the new financial environment is making securities investment more complex, leading many investors to struggle with understanding new products and investment strategies. The aim of this course is to familiarize college students in their 20s with securities investment, enabling them to comprehend both existing and new financial products and cultivate a perspective that allows them to appropriately utilize the given financial environment. Furthermore, the course aims to enhance students' ability to acquire academic knowledge in the field of securities investment, which they can utilize to prepare for a happy retirement life starting from their 20s.
